As soon as your order ships, we'll email you a shipping confirmation with a tracking number and a link to follow it door to door. You can also track any order at any time by logging into your account and opening Order History. If it's been more than a couple of business days since you ordered and you haven't seen a shipping email, check your spam folder or drop us a line at info@amateur.cc and we'll send your tracking straight over.

Confirmation emails usually arrive within a few minutes. If it hasn't come through, it's most often a typo in the email address at checkout or a message sitting in spam/promotions. Email us at info@amateur.cc with the name and approximate time of your order and we'll confirm it for you.

We aim to pack and ship orders within 1–2 business days. Orders placed over the weekend or on a holiday ship the next business day.

We move quickly to get orders out, but if you need to make a change, email info@amateur.cc as soon as possible with your order number. If it hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to help. Once an order is on its way, we'll sort it out through our returns process instead.

Standard shipping is complimentary on US orders over $250; below that, a flat rate is calculated at checkout. Standard domestic US delivery typically takes 2–5 business days once your order ships, depending on your location. EU orders will take 5 business days to arrive.

Yes! You can select ‘pickup instore’ at checkout and collect from our New Canaan store once your order is ready. We'll email you when it's ready to collect. Store operating hours are Wednesday-Sunday 10am-6pm and additional pickups are by appointment ahead of our full opening.

Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. For any future international orders, import duties and taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.

We want you to love what you ordered. You can return unworn, unwashed items in their original condition with tags attached within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Footwear should be tried on indoors and returned in its original box.

Email info@amateur.cc OR follow the returns link on your order confirmation with your order number and the item(s) you'd like to return or exchange, and we'll send you simple instructions. For exchanges, let us know the size or colour you'd like and we'll check availability and hold it where we can.

Once your return arrives and passes a quick check, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. It typically takes 5–10 business days for it to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Items marked Final Sale, along with certain accessories (e.g. socks and other intimate items) for hygiene reasons, can't be returned or exchanged. Anything final sale is noted clearly on the product page. For hygiene reasons we also cannot accept the return of consumable goods or sunscreen. Thank you for your understanding.

Every product page has a dedicated size guide with full US / UK / EU and cm / inch conversions. Footwear is sized brand-by-brand (with each brand's fit note), and apparel charts are based on body measurements — measure your chest/bust, waist and hip and match to the chart. If you're between sizes, follow the fit note on the guide.

It varies by brand and model, so we note it on each size guide. A few quick pointers: Norda runs small — size up a half, if you haven’t tried the brand before. HOKA is mostly true to size (the Speedgoat runs slightly snug in the toe box). New Balance is true to size, though the FuelCell Rebel is a snug race fit. Quoc cycling shoes use EU sizing. You can match your foot length to the chart. When in doubt, email us your usual size and what you're deciding between, and we'll give you an honest recommendation.

Always. Everything we sell is sourced directly from the brands or their authorized distributors; no exceptions.

Some pieces restock and some are limited to a single drop. On many sold-out items you can sign up for a ‘back-in-stock alert’ on the product page, and we'll email you if it returns. For anything specific, just ask, we can often tell you what's coming.

Follow the care label on each item. As a rule of thumb: wash technical apparel cold on a gentle cycle, skip the fabric softener, and air dry to protect performance fabrics and prints. For footwear, remove insoles and air dry away from direct heat.

We accept all major credit and debit cards and the standard digital wallets offered at checkout. Your payment details are encrypted and processed securely - we never see or store your full card number.

No - you can check out as a guest. Creating an account is optional, but it makes tracking orders and starting returns quicker, and keeps your details handy for next time.
